In 1980 Jim started Great Lakes Marine Services to service the needs of the boating community. Our facility is just north of I-43 in Port Washington WI where we have four new state of the art buildings with two more approved to go up soon on our 10 acre site. GLMS, also has five slips in the Port Washington Marina for service and sea trails.

Admin/Customer Support

Kathy is the first smiling face when you visit Great Lakes. She takes care of all the daily accounting tasks as well as the billing for the company. When Kathy is not at work she enjoys spending time her garden.

Fiberglass Department Manager

Dianna specializes in estimates, warranty work, customer relations and all things fiberglass. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her two daughters. Dianna is committed to the boating industry and specifically the service needs of our customers.

Haulouts & Launch

Mike has a true passion for the boating industry withroots instilled in him as a child by his father James Burt. Jim Burt and Chad Biersach (not pictured) work with the company during fall haulout and spring launch. During the summer, Captain Chad Biersach operates C&D Charters out of Port Washington.
